I specialize in teaching group classes that encourage students to investigate the symbiotic relationship between sound and motion. I use my training in Dalcroze Eurhythmics and Orff Schulwerk to teach music kinesthetically.

It is the Dalcroze philosophy that once we are able to externalize music through creative movement we can then translate that experience to our instrument, making for more rhythmically accurate and artistically inspiring performances.

Currently I teach classes at the Community Music Center located in SE Portland. Please contact the CMC directly to register your child for one of my classes.

A few years ago I co-founded a summer camp with violinist Shaina Evoniuk and modern dancer Amirah Said that combines our artforms. We call it Fusion Arts Camp. Locations and times for 2009 Fusion Arts camp will be announced soon!

I am available to teach workshops and masterclasses, please email me if you would like me to be a guest artist at your school or studio.
